Ed Harne has worked in the mosquito control profession for over 36 years, all withCharleston County Government. He is the Taxonomist, or Lab Technician, for the
Charleston County Mosquito Control Program, and also gives educational presentations
to schools, civic groups, and at local events. Ed holds a state license as a pesticide applicator in two categories, Public Health, and Structural Pest Control. He is a resident of Summerville.
Mr. Ben Rountree
Corteva
Mr, Rountree has 24 years in the pest control arena. He began his career with Ecolab in 1999 selling commercial pest control until 2008 before moving on to manage the South Carolina territory for Univar for 9 years. He then spent a short stent with AMVAC until 2019. He has been with Corteva since, managing the South Carolina territory for Sentricon and Hexpro.
Ben is married to his wife Katie, they have two daughters, Collins(12) and Mallory(10). Ben resides in his hometown of Ridgeland SC.
Brian Cope is the Southeast Territory manager for MGK. This is his 12th year with them covering 5 states. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Psychology. His 12 years with Ecolab before starting with MGK provided a comprehensive experience in commercial pest control and restaurant / hotel management
strategies.
As the territory manager for MGK, Brian loves the challenges that come from the daily experience of finding solutions that will make the partnerships he enjoys having more efficient and effective in their daily operations.
Away from work, Brian is an avid carpenter, enjoys DIY projects, loves to fish and hunt if there is any free time.
Chris is an Urban Horticulture Agent for Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties. He works with homeowners mainly but also work with Nurseries, Landscapers and community gardens. He has worked with Clemson for over five years and his background is in Nursery production and Vegetable research.

Andrew Pierson has been the Entomologist for the Charleston County Mosquito Control Program since January 2022, where he traps mosquitoes and uses PCR technology to
test them for arboviruses such as West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2020
and worked for the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management’s Mosquito
Abatement Program doing arbovirus surveillance for two years before moving to
Charleston. He holds a Pesticide Applicator License in the Public Health category and currently resides in West Ashley.

Mr. Steve Sullivan is the President of Sullivan Sales & Marketing LLC where he is responsible for sales, promotion and product training for Rockwell Labs, AMGuard, VM Products, Airofog, BurrowRX, Aprehend, Mattress Safe,, Kaput, & 3D where his goal is to provide PMP's with practical information to assist them in effective control of insect pests through the understanding of insect behavior and the use of the most effective product formulations.
Steve has a B.S. degree in mass communications & History Studies from East Tennessee State University. Steve is married with two incredible boys aged 15 & 18 and enjoys his spare time coaching kids sports and hanging with family
