Ed Harne has worked in the mosquito control profession for over 36 years, all withCharleston County Government. He is the Taxonomist, or Lab Technician, for the
Charleston County Mosquito Control Program, and also gives educational presentations
to schools, civic groups, and at local events. Ed holds a state license as a pesticide
applicator in two categories, Public Health, and Structural Pest Control. He is a resident
of Summerville.
Mr. Randy Bishop
Allpro Pest Management
Randy has been in the Pest Control business for over 45 years. He is presently certified in 4 categories as well as holds a SC Builders License. He began his career with Terminix Service. He has held positions in pest and termite control as a Service technician (Keyman), Pest Control & Termite Supervisor, Sales Manager, & Branch Manager. He left Terminix in 1992 at which time he opened Allpro Pest Management Inc. which has now been in business for over 25 years.
Randy was the 2007 PCO of the year for both the Greater Charleston Pest Control Association & South Carolina Pest Control Association. He is a two term SCPCA area Director and has held many different positions in the GCPCA
Stoney attained his bachelor's degree in Entomology from Clemson University in 1988. He has been a board certified Entomologist from 2015 to present. He has held Applicator licenses in various categories in multiple states. He is a long-standing member of the NPMA & SCPCA. He has also held several positions in the Midlands Pest Control Association.
Stoney has spoken at multiple industry seminars,, termite training classes as well has been published in our industry magazines and bulletins and has received many awards for his efforts in the industry.
His consulting clients include Pest Control Operators, insurance carriers and attorneys in pest related investigations and litigation.
Chris is an Urban Horticulture Agent for Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties. He works with homeowners mainly but also work with Nurseries, Landscapers and community gardens. He has worked with Clemson for over five years and his background is in Nursery production and Vegetable research.
Eric is a renowned Bee Extraction specialist and consultant. He has dedicated his entire life, with nearly 35 years of field experience extracting and removing many of the largest nest ever documented in history without using pesticides. He specializes in historical structures, Amusement parks, Large complex issues, and problem solving.

Andrew Pierson has been the Entomologist for the Charleston County Mosquito Control
Program since January 2022, where he traps mosquitoes and uses PCR technology to
test them for arboviruses such as West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis. He
graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Biological Sciences in 2020
and worked for the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management’s Mosquito
Abatement Program doing arbovirus surveillance for two years before moving to
Charleston. He holds a Pesticide Applicator License in the Public Health category and
currently resides in West Ashley.
